Live Edge Furniture {and a new type of wood flooring}

After a great field trip last week to Meyer Wells (a business that builds modern furniture from reclaimed urban trees), I've been gathering inspiration of furniture with a live edge:

Emily Henderson

Skonahem
But here's the best part. While searching online, I discovered something that I think is SO cool...and I think you will too if you haven't heard of it already!

It's called Bolefloor. Straight from the description on their website (because they explain it way better than I could): Bolefloor is the world’s first industrial-scale manufactured hardwood flooring with naturally curved lengths that follow a tree’s natural growth.

How cool is it!??!? I think it adds so much personality to the floor. I'm dying a little bit over here. I've loved wide plank wood flooring for awhile, but this just takes it to whole a new level. AND it's better for the environment, because its curved edges allow more floors to be made per forest. Woo.

So, what do you guys think of live edge furniture and this new flooring
?

Wow, that floor looks great! I'm not sure my home could handle the rustic furniture, but the floor is a bit more subtle in it's rusticity ;-)

Ahh.. That looks nice. It gives a very steady feel and looks for your home; quite formal, I suppose. I love how it can help the environment, hopefully, many people will choose this for the welfare of our environment. Don't you think?
